A few weeks ago, I was in Japan, guiding a Dutch tour group. During a stay in a hotel, I noticed a sign that said: ‘NO evening noise!’ As I am always on the look for fun and cool font names, I wrote it down and used it on the font you see here!
Evening Noise is a noisy font: it is big, fat, eroded, grungy… Yet it is also very legible and – in its own way – kind of sophisticated! Evening Noise was made with gouache paint and a stiff brush – hence the detail,
It comes in a regular and an Italic style, both of which will look good on product packaging and book covers.
